Walthamstow - 29/05/07

More like it.

Had three fish.

First was on my second cast, at the inlet on #4. Caught on one of my orange boobies on a crap cast that only went half way out, and I pulled it quite quickly and the fish took just before the weed.

I then spent a few hours moving around, the wind was unsettled and changing direction all the time. I got to #5 and could see fish right far out, but nothing near by. An old boy who had been fishing the corner of #4 at the start of the causeway packed up and came over and told me he had about 5 pulls in the last half hour, although nothing was showing. I went over to the spot and had to cast in to the wind, and had a fish on my second cast (again). This time it took an okey-dokey, and the fish was in great condition and over 3lb.

Then a few hours later when it was near enough dusk, I was fishing #5 and saw a fish rise about 5ft from the bank, got a perfect cast alongside to the bank to him and he took, another beauty over 3lbs and a cracking fight! This one took a stripped peacock buzzer.

3 fish, 3 different methods!!!

3 - 3 - 3
